Drew Christopher Brees was born on January 15, 1979, in Austin, Texas, to Mina and Eugene Chip Brees. His father passed away from a heart attack in 1996 when Drew was just seventeen years old. Three of his older brothers – Reid, Sean and Beau – played college football. He has had two children with his wife Brittany: Baylen Thomas (born December 27, 2007) and Rylee Rein (born November 5, 2009).
